【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandarddescribesanXMLandKVPencodingofasystemneutralsyntaxforexpressingprojections,selectionandsortingclausescollectivelycalledaqueryexpression.ThesecomponentsaremodularandintendedtobeusedtogetherorindividuallybyotherstandardswhichreferencethisInternationalStandard.EXAMPLE1ISO19142makesuseofsomeorallofthesecomponents.ThisInternationalStandarddefinesanabstractcomponent,namedAbstractQueryExpression,fromwhichotherspecificationscansubclassconcretequeryelementstoimplementqueryoperations.ThisInternationalStandardalsodefinesanadditionalabstractquerycomponent,namedAbstractAdhocQueryExpresison,whichisderivedfromAbstractQueryExpressionandfromwhichotherspecificationscansubclassconcretequeryelementswhichfollowthefollowingquerypattern:Anabstractqueryelementfromwhichservicespecificationscansubclassaconcretequeryelementthatimplementsaqueryoperationthatallowsaclienttospecifyalistofresourcetypes,anoptionalprojectionclause,anoptionalselectionclause,andanoptionalsortingclausetoqueryasubsetofresourcesthatsatisfytheselectionclause.Thispatternisreferredtoasanadhocquerypatternsincetheserverisnotawareofthequeryuntilitissubmittedforprocessing.Thisisincontrasttoastoredqueryexpression,whichisstoredandcanbeinvokedbynameoridentifier.ThisInternationalStandardalsodescribesanXMLandKVPencodingofasystem-neutralrepresentationofaselectclause.TheXMLrepresentationiseasilyvalidated,parsedandtransformedintoaserver-specificlanguagerequiredtoretrieveormodifyobjectinstancesstoredinsomepersistentobjectstore.EXAMPLE2AnXMLencodedfiltercanbetransformedintoaWHEREclauseforaSQLSELECTstatementtofetchdatastoredinaSQL-basedrelationaldatabase.Similarly,andXMLencodedfilterexpressioncanbetransformedintoanXPathorXPointerexpressionforfetchingdatafromXMLdocuments.ThisInternationalStandarddefinestheXMLencodingforthefollowingpredicates.a)Astandardsetoflogicalpredicates:and,orandnot.b)Astandardsetofcomparisonpredicates:equalto,notequalto,lessthan,lessthanorequalto,greaterthan,greaterthanorequalto,like,isnullandbetween.c)Astandardsetofspatialpredicates:equal,disjoint,touches,within,overlaps,crosses,intersects,contains,withinaspecifieddistance,beyondaspecifieddistanceandBBOX.d)Astandardsetoftemporalpredicates:after,before,begins,begunby,contains,during,ends,equals,meets,metby,overlapsandoverlappedby.e)Apredicatetotestwhethertheidentifierofanobjectmatchesthespecifiedvalue.ThisInternationalStandarddefinestheXMLencodingofmetadatathatallowsaservicetodeclarewhichconformanceclasses,predicates,operators,operandsandfunctionsitsupports.ThismetadataisreferredtoasFilterCapabilities.
