【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoversathermoplasticinsulationofpoly(vinylchloride)orthecopolymerofvinylchlorideandvinylacetate.Thisinsulationisrecommendedforuseatconductortemperaturesnotinexcessof90C.Dependingonthethicknessoftheinsulation,themaximumvoltageused,andwhetherthelocationiswetordry,thisinsulationisacceptableforusein300V(dry)and600V(wetordry)powerandcontrolcircuits.Thisinsulationhaspotentiallow-temperatureinstallationlimitations.Consultthemanufacturerforspecificrecommendationsforinstallation.Whenevertwosetsofvaluesarepresented,indifferentunits,thevaluesinthefirstsetarethestandard,whilethoseinparenthesesareforinformationonly.Inmanyinstancestheinsulationmaterialcannotbetestedunlessithasbeenformedaroundaconductororcable.Therefore,testsaredoneoninsulatedwireorcableinthisspecificationsolelytodeterminetherelevantpropertyoftheinsulationmaterialandnottotesttheconductororcompletedcable.
