【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiestheframestructures,theelementsofprocedures,theclassesofprocedures,thecontentandformatofthegeneralpurposeExchangeIdentification(XID)frame,andameansforresolution/negotiationofadatalinklayeraddressinswitchedenvironmentsfordatacommunicationsystemsusingbit-orientedhigh-leveldatalinkcontrol(HDLC)procedures.NOTE—Theuseofthephrase"bit-oriented",referringtotheHDLCcontrolprocedures,pertainstotheallocationofanon-integralnumberofbitstovarioussubfieldsusedforHDLCcontrolpurposes.However,theframeasanentiretymaybeconstructedfromoctet-orientedunits(e.g.,start-stopmode)fortransmissionpurposes.Theframestructureportiondefinestherelativepositionsofthevariouscomponentsofthebasicframeformatandthenon-basicframeformat.Themechanismsusedtoachievebitpatternindependence(transparency),whereandwhenrequired,withintheframearealsodefined.Inaddition,threeframecheckingsequences(FCS)arespecified;therulesforaddressfieldextensionaredefined;andtheaddressingconventionsavailablearedescribed.Theelementsofproceduresportionspecifieselementsofdatalinkcontrolproceduresforsynchronousorstart/stop,code-transparentdatatransmissionusingindependentframenumberinginbothdirections.TheseHDLCelementsofproceduresaredefinedspecificallyintermsoftheactionsthatoccuronreceiptofcommandsatasecondarystation,atributarystation,apeerstation,oracombinedstation.ThisInternationalStandardisintendedtocoverawiderangeofapplications;forexampleone-way,two-wayalternateortwo-waysimultaneousdatacommunicationbetweendatastationswhichareusuallybuffered,includingoperationsondifferenttypesofdatacircuits;forexamplemultipoint/point-to-point,duplex/half-duplex,switched/non-switched,synchronous/start-stop,etc.Thedefinedelementsofproceduresaretobeconsideredasacommonbasisforestablishingdifferenttypesofdatalinkcontrolprocedures.ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotdefineanysinglesystemandshouldnotberegardedasaspecificationforadatacommunicationsystem.Notallofthecommandsorresponsesarerequiredforanyparticularsystemimplementation.TheclassesofproceduresportiondescribestheHDLCunbalancedclassesofprocedures,theHDLCbalancedclassofprocedures,andtheHDLCconnectionlessclassesofproceduresforsynchronousorstart/stopdatatransmission.Fortheunbalancedclasses,thedatalinkconsistsofaprimarystationplusoneormoresecondarystationsandoperatesineitherthenormalresponsemodeortheasynchronousresponsemodeinapoint-to-pointormultipointconfiguration.Forthebalancedclass,thedatalinkconsistsoftwocombinedstationsandoperatesintheasynchronousbalancedmodeinapoint-to-pointconfiguration.Fortheunbalancedconnectionlessclass,thedatalinkconsistsofacontrolstationplusoneormoretributarystationsandoperatesintheunbalancedconnectionless-modeinapoint-to-pointormultipointconfiguration.Forthebalancedconnectionlessclass,thedatalinkconsistsoftwopeerstationsandoperatesinthebalancedconnectionless-modeinapoint-to-pointconfiguration.Ineachclass,abasicrepertoireofcommandsandresponsesisdefined,butthecapabilityofthedatalinkmaybemodifiedbytheuseofoptionalfunctions.Balancedoperationisintendedforuseincircumstanceswhichrequireequalcontrolateitherendofthedatalink.OperationalrequirementsarecoveredinaccordancewiththeoverallHDLCarchitecture.ThecontentandformatoftheExchangeIdentification(XID)frameportionbuildsonthefactthattheprincipaluseoftheXIDframeistoexchangedatalinkinformationbetweentwoormoreHDLCstations.ForthepurposeofthisInternationalStandard,datalinkinformationshallincludeanyandallesse
